Just as you reach the lineup you turn toward the horizon to see a magnificent wave roll in as if it were waiting for you to get in the water. Each passing wave, big or small, ridden or not, is a thrill in the heart and mind of the avid stand up paddle surfer. 
Hike up a Diamond HeadDiamond Head is a defining feature of the view known to residents and tourists of Waikīkī alike. The volcanic cone is a United States State Monument. While part of it serves as a platform for antennas used by the U.S. government and is closed to the public, the crater's proximity to Honolulu's resort hotels and beaches makes the rest of it a popular destination. Areas of Diamond Head are used while filming the television series Lost which is filmed entirely on location on the island of Oahu. The hike starts from the middle of the crater and goes all the way to the top of the craters edge.

Waikiki ZooTake an adverture into the jungles of Waikiki by visiting Honolulu Zoo. Many different species of animals and birds reside in this unique place. 
Army MuseumBecome familiar with military history of the United States and Hawaii itself. With free intrance and doors open Tuesday through Sunday 10am - 4:15pm, its a great place to cool down between your adventures in the Waikiki.
